Em is a food grower, educator, and writer born and raised on Ohlone lands, currently known as the San Francisco Bay Area of California. She has worked to advance food security and justice across Toronto with organizations like Black Creek Community Farm, the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council, Yoyu Aquaponics, and LAMP Community Health Centre. In their free time, Em loves cooking, reading, and playing soccer.
