Amy Rumbolt

She/Her | Director of Community Engagement
Amy has over a decade of experience in facilitation, risk/harm reduction and human-centered, ecological practices. In 2020, while working alongside local food movements, Amy focused her attention on encampment support and volunteered with Building Roots on their Moss Park initiative - that breadcrumb has slowly and intentionally led her to this role. She embodies the commitment to holding space that focuses on meaningful and impactful care for all beings involved. Amy is often deepening her studies and practices in embodied communication and reciprocal relationships. With her team and community, she is shaping more informed and holistic strategies and practices at the MPM hub for participants and neighbours. Beyond this role, Amy practices rest, ritual and friendship. She loves to sunbathe, cycle, and create playlists for joy and groundedness. She can be found praying near the water or celebrating the expanded Queerness that is deservingly taking up space in the city and beyond. Amy loves discussing meaning-making, interoception and the complexity and beauty of human ecology.
