Crystal hails from Niswaakamog (The Three Trails ) also known as Sudbury, Ontario, but has spent the last 20 years living in Toronto. Crystal identifies as a ‘helper’ and has a long history as a frontline worker, non-profit director, and educator. She loves relationship building and relies on a steady supply of laughter to connect with new partners and community members. In her current role with Building Roots, Crystal seeks out new opportunities for the benefit of local residents and is of service to partners, team members and volunteers. Crystal also evaluates community-driven programs to ensure that goals are met and reflective of community aspirations. Crystal is mother to her two favourite people. crystal@buildingroots.ca
