In celebration of Urban Agriculture Week
Where: Building Roots’ urban farm (Queen & Greenwood)

Or: Saturday, September 17th, 2022, 1pm
How much? Free, but must be a ticket holder for admission
Explore with all your senses: the feathery fronds of asparagus and the ribbed furl of turmeric. The tang of lemon verbena and the sweetness of sweet cicely. The woodsy scents of lavender and rosemary; the wind in the trees and the hum of bees. The deep yellow of goldenrod and the delicate pinks of cleome. The distinctive flower forms of callaloo and okra and eggplant. They’re all here, waiting for you to discover them.
Building Roots grows for the PWYC Moss Park Market, adding cuisine-specific produce and fresh herbs to the bounty provided by our peri-urban farm partners. For two days during Urban Agriculture week, we invite you to let your senses take the lead in a tour of our small urban farm.
Rain dates:

Hi!
I tried to click on the Thursday Sept 15 event, but it doesn’t seem to work…How can I get a ticket, please? (I am a volunteer with the Friends of Allan Gardens, and would like to see your setup. Thanks)
